The surroundings of the lodge can only be described with superlatives making Terra Luna the perfect base camp to discover the region.
Mythical names such as the Baker River, San Rafael Lagoon, the Northern Icecap and Mount San Valentin are the setting for the most diverse excursions and expeditions which start every day from the lodge.
Terra Luna is supported by an established and complete infrastructure to support its large variety of services and activities such as water sports, trekking, mountaineering, canopy, fly fishing, jet boating, cinema, mountain biking, horse riding, children’s games and spa.

Lodge San Valentín (Standard Rooms):
This building has 3 standard rooms (1 to 3 guests each) with private bathroom. The building is also equipped with a common leisure room, a kitchenette, and a terrace shared between users of the 3 rooms. Rooms are booked separately.
Main Lodge (Apartments)
The lodge has 4 triplex units with 2 double rooms, 1 single room (changeable in a double room for children), 1 toilet and 1 living room with direct access to the main terrace. There is no kitchen in the units. The restaurant is located in the same building.
El Nido 1 (Superior Room):
Beautiful room on the treetops with an excellent view & privacy. This building has 1 double room and private bathroom.
The Jacuzzi (Superior Room):
Beautiful independent room with the best view of the lodge and a jacuzzi. Special for honeymoon travelers. This building has 1 double and private bathroom.
The Pirata
Nice bungalow built in a wood boat located on the lake shore. It has a double bed, a mini living room , a bathroom and a terrace.
Navigation To Marble Caves + Isla + Saltos Del Maqui:
All public. Navigation on lake General Carrera to Pto Guadal marble caves and Carabinero Island Short walk following Maqui to the numerous waterfalls. Return by land or boat to Terra Luna. Duration: 2-3 hours.
Trekking to Rio Maqui Waterfall:
2-3 hours trekking. All public. Walk with local guide from Terra Luna to the numerous waterfalls of rio Maqui. Back to Terra Luna walking, in vehicle or by boat. Duration: 2-4 hours according to return mode.
Trekking to Lake Bertrand:
Easy trekking to lake Bertrand. Duration (2 to 5 hours) varies according to selected starting point. Combinable with a mountain bike portion. All public. Good for rainy days.
Overland to Chile Chico and Jeinimeni National Reserve:
Full day excursion to Chile Chico and Jeinimeni National reserve. All public. Duration: 10 hours.
Horse Riding at Lake La Manga:
Half day horse riding excursion to lake La Manga, at the base of Lindero Magallanes. Horses, guide, picnic included. Duration: 2 hours. (Activity carried out by associated partners)
Trekking to Veranada Fossiles:
Full day trekking to search for Veranada´s fossils. Includes : Transfer by car, tour leader, picnic. Wonderful views. Duration: 5-6 hours.
Rafting on Baker River:
Half day rafting on the Baker River. Round trip transfer by car. 2h of rafting. All public. Duration: 4-5 h. (Activity carried out by associated partners)
Mountain Bike to The Hidden Mine or Lake La Manga:
Mountain bike excursion to the “hidden mine” or to lake La Manga. Duration: 3-4 hours.
Trekking to Leones Lake:
full day trekking to Leones lake and its impressive glaciers. Transfer by 4×4 car to Mapuche glacier. Beginning of the trekking 2h, to reach the lake. Navigation with a zodiac to the glacier front wall. Lunch facing the glacier. Unforgettable experience. Back to Terra Luna. Duration: 10 hours.
Trekking to Meliquina Lake:
Full day trekking to Meliquina lake. Transfer by car to Punta Baja. Demanding trekking. Back to Leones Valley . Tour leader and lunch included. Tour of lakes and glaciers. Duration: 10-12 hours.
Excursion Tamango Reserve & Baker River:
Full day excursion to Pto Bertrand, Baker river waterfall, Cochrane and Tamango reserve to see “huemules”. All public. Duration: 8-10 hours.
Canopy:
Extraordinary Canopy with a lot of different games, All public. Duration: 2 hours.
Excursion to Exploradores Valley and to The Marble Chapel:
Full day excursion to Pto Tranquilo, Exploradores Valley, Marble chapel etc… . Transfer by car, cross boat until the marble chapel (if possible), tour leader, lunch, etc… All public. Duration: 8-10 hours.
Climb of Mount Lindero Magallanes:
Full day excursion to climb mount Lindero Magallanes (1700m), Incredible view on the highest peaks of patagonia and on 5 different lakes (at least). Medium. 10-12 hours
Fly Fishing:
Enjoy 2 hours fishing in Lago Bertrand and Lake Bertrand area. Navigation in Semi Rigid (motor) and McKenzie (row) boats. Only Catch & Release. Duration 3 – 4 hours. Basic fishing equipment Included. (Activity carried out by associated partners)
Canoeing on Leones River:
Transfer to Leones river. Fantastic canoeing on the river, in between mountains, glaciers and view local fauna. Back to Terra Luna. (6 hours).
