This unique ancestral house with its architectural beauty, the comfort of its facilities, the quietness (despite being located in the middle of the city) and the convenience of the best bars and restaurants in town will make your stay an unforgettable experience.
Doña Graciela's house has undergone two transformations to date: in 1962, after her death at age 70, the innovation consisted of changing the original structure from bahareque to a mixed system; and in 2001, following the earthquakes of that year, the general infrastructure of the house was reinforced, maintaining the colonial style that always characterized it.
Currently the house is owned by Doña Graciela's grandson and great grandson, and over the years it was used only as a rest residence.
In the last 15 years, it has always been an attraction for both national and international tourists requesting access to the house to take photographs and appreciate the beauty of the flora within their garden. At the beginning of 2014, it opened its doors to the public for the first time, providing hosting and events services.
The hidden secret within the experience that is lived in Casa Degraciela lies in the small details of the colonial architectural beauty of the hotel, its garden under the stars and perfumed gardenia, and the design of each of its rooms. Hotel facilities include private restaurant and bar.
Each of the 6 rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture and named for ancestors.
