In addition to Galapagos Habitat’s extraordinary characteristics, the hotel hosts multiple Galapagos natives who often frequent the hotel and deck area. Friendly sea lions, marine iguanas, pelicans, and other well-known Galapagos animals love to relax in the company of guests. Facilities include restaurant, bar and lounge.
At Galapagos Habitat, you don’t have to leave the hotel to enjoy the wildlife spectacles that have made this archipelago famous the world over: sealions line one side of our wooden deck, marine iguanas scuttle by our restaurant and pelicans roost in the mangroves.
Originally built by Galapagos pioneers in 1995, our hotel still boasts unique architecture and design, blending mangrove forests and Galapagos shoreline.

Beyond this area is reserved for an “official sea lion resting area” as a result of the constant presence of sea lions looking for a place to relax with their marine iguana friends.

Superior accommodations are great for families looking to stay with their children. Views of Academy Bay can be seen and enjoyed together. These rooms are able to accommodate up to three people with an option for a sofa bed if needed.
