Each luxurious villa is self-catering, well equipped with cooking and dining appliances. Guests need only bring food for cooking, or utilize our personal shopping service to have your refrigerator fully stocked prior to check-in. Alternatively, you may choose to enjoy the luxury of a private chef who can prepare a gourmet meal in the comfort of your own villa.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the complimentary kayaks, canoes, sculling shells, numerous outdoor lounge areas and swimming and snorkeling areas.
Take a siesta in a secluded hammock, experience the sunset from your private dock, watch the abundant bird life from a private corner in the tropical garden, meditate on the lakeside, do yoga while listening to rhythmic waves, or enjoy a relaxing outdoor massage on your private terrace. The magic of the lake is everywhere.
Each villa has a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with complete range of appliances - gas stove with oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, as well as dishes, pots and utensils; condiments, herbs and spices. Tea and coffee are complimentary.
For your convenience, you may also shop at our mini-convenience store at the front office which offers an array of beverages, snack foods, and food for cooking, or if you prefer, let us shop for you and pre-stock your refrigerator upon your arrival. We offer this as a one-time grocery shopping service per stay. A list of grocery options will be emailed to you in advance or offered to you upon your arrival.
If, however, you would rather have a meal prepared for you in your villa (breakfast and dinner only) we can arrange our gourmet cook to prepare a delicious meal in the comfort and privacy of your villa. You can choose from a selection of typical Guatemalan and continental dishes.

Our cozy Studio Soluna is the owner's favorite get away, located at the top of the property with the most spectacular view of the lake. Studio Soluna's balcony and wraparound sliding windows give you the feeling of being perched on a cliff above the lake. A romantic cozy getaway for two or an ideal retreat for one to meditate on the peace and tranquility of this unique space
Mirador
Villa Mirador offers our most spectacularly expansive views of Lake Atitlan. Newly constructed and designed by a respected local Guatemalan architect, it was designed and built with the utmost care using local materials. Rich original artwork and cypress wood lends luxurious warmth to this villa. Villa Mirador has two bedrooms and a large open studio that can be converted into another sleeping area, accommodating up to six guests.
Bambu
Newly constructed, handcrafted from local materials with a warm luxurious feeling, every window from this two-bedroom villa offers picturesque views of the lake. It has a fully equipped kitchen overlooking a grove of bamboo. The cozy living room with its corner fireplace leads to a comfortable covered terrace for outdoor dining and lounging.
Jade Cottage
Jade Cottage provides the perfect cozy getaway for two. The glass walls throughout the spaces provide a stunning western view of the lake peeking through tree branches, over the lush tropical gardens to the water and volcanoes. The charming bedroom has a canopy-draped queen-size bed, tastefully decorated with a blend of modern and rustic creating a romantic atmosphere.
Balam Ya
The original villa on the property directly above Lake Atitlan, B´alam Ya is spacious and artistic, casual-zen in spirit, and furnished with an impressive selection of art that lends it an oriental sensuality. B´alam Ya has two luxurious and private bedrooms that accommodate up to four guests. On the ground floor the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and an unobstructed, floor-to-ceiling panoramic view of the lake and volcanoes.
