Managua is the capital and largest city in Nicaragua with a population of nearly 2 million people. Managua has been dubbed the “Venice of Central America” because of its escalating use of makeshift canals that can be found throughout the city.
It also offers different historic landmarks to visit such as the Plaza of the Revolution, the Cathedral of Managua, and the old national palace.
