 Jesuit Ruins and Yerbatera

Transfer to the Jesuit Reductions of Trinidad, vestiges of what was the great evangelizing campaign of the Jesuit Fathers, dating from the year 1706. After the visit continue to Bella Vista, where the Selecta yerba mate is located. There will be a guided tour where you will observe the production of the yerba mate, which starts in the nursery, the plantations, the drying sector and barbacuá, the mill and packaging of the final product. Tasting of the mate and tereré (iced tea). You will also visit the museum where old machinery for the process of making yerba mate is exposed. Return to Asuncion at the end of the day.

 Ypacarai Lake and Artisans Village

This excursion includes a visit to the artisan village of Luque, with its rustic factories of harps and handmade guitars, as well as gold and silver jewelry. Then, visit the artisan city of Aregua, an old summer village that still maintains its flavor of the early twentieth century, on the shores of famous Lake Ypacarai, where potteries and craft centers exhibit their works all year. Later, you will visit the city of San Bernardino, on Lago Ypacaraí, a summer destination for the Paraguayans. Continue to Itauguá, home of the famous Ñandutí, handmade lace with design resembling spider webs. On the tour you can buy handicrafts such as hammocks, tablecloths, bedspreads and other Paraguayan crafts. Return to Asunción.

 The Gold Circuit

The combination of craftsmanship, culture, history and nature will make this excursion an unforgettable and pleasant experience. On our tour you will visit the traditional artisan city of Itá, known for the manufacture of the "Gallinita de la Suerte". You will visit the church of Yaguarón, an 18th-century Franciscan temple. Continue to the Paraguarí mountain ranges. In Paraguarí, visit the historical city of Piribebuy. Continue to the Basilica of Caacupé, where the Cathedral of the Patron Saint of all Paraguayans, the Virgen de Caacupé (Virgin of Caacupé). Transfer to San Bernardino, the country's main summer resort, located on the shores of Lake Ypacarai, where lunch will be served. Lunch included.  Mbatovi Adventure

Early departure to the Mbatovi Ecological Reserve, about 72 km from Asunción, for a day of fun and adrenaline. The “Hanging Road” (Tapé Saingó in Guarani) is a set of hanging bridges that finishes with an amazing zipline - 105 meters long, past streams, waterfalls, lush forests, gorges covered with mosses and ferns. The final descent will be a 30 meter rappel down a natural wall. After the adventure, transfer to a restaurant for lunch. Return to Asuncion. For the Hanging Road excursion you will be accompanied by specialized instructors. The zipline and rappelling equipment are operated with state-of-the-art equipment and international certification.

 The City of Atyra

Atyra, located about 60 km from Asunción, in the Altos mountain range. Declared the "Ecological Capital of Paraguay", Atyra is a city rich in natural and geological features. You will visit the artisan market, where leather works are a specialty. Continue to the Marianela Complex, built by the Redemptorist congregation with the assistance of Italians architects from Verona. Finish the tour with lunch with a spectacular view from the heights of the hills at the Casa del Monte Lodge. Return to Asunción.
