Permits are mandatory to hike along the Inca Trail. The following availability calendar is for the start date of a trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. If permits for your desired date are sold out and your start date is not flexible you may consider alternate treks that also finish at Machu Picchu (although not along the Inca Trail), such as one of the Salkantay Treks or Lares Treks.

The maximum number of Inca Trail permits is 500 per day. This total includes trekkers and support staff (guides, porters, camp staff).  The Inca Trail permit availability shown on this calendar is directly provided by the Peruvian Government. Lost World Adventures cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided. Lost World Adventures accepts no responsibility for errors or inaccuracies. Lost World Adventures purchases permits for our clients only after we receive payment and the necessary details (name on passport, passport number, nationality, birthdate). Permits are sold by the Peruvian Government on a first come, first serve basis.
