Start your trip in magnificent Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A full-day tour of Rio includes a tram to the top of Corcovado Mountain and the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, followed by a cable-car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, a visit the Sambodromo (where Carnival takes place).

Leisure time in Rio can be spent at the legendary beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.

Rio de Janeiro

Fly to Foz de Iguaçú, home to one of the most beautiful ecological reserves of the planet and where you find one of the most spectacular views of the world, the Iguaçú Falls.

You will explore the falls on both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides.

 Iguazu Falls

Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina and spend several days discovering the ‘Paris of South America’. On your first full day you will by accompanied by a private guide who will take you to the city’s four highest points, or balconies, for breath-taking panoramic views and traditional Argentinian “barrios.”

On one evening you will experience a Tango dinner show at one of the city’s most intimate theaters.

Day 1 : Rio de Janeiro

Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you will be met by one of our private, bilingual guides who will drive you to your hotel.

Overnight Windsor Copa, breakfast included - 3 nights. 

With beautiful beaches, lush mountains, and vibrant nightlife, Rio de Janeiro is a stellar destination for all types of travelers.

Day 2 : Full-day Rio, Sugarloaf & Corcovado Mtn. 

Drive through several different districts of the city, arriving at Cosme Velho Station for a cog-wheel tram ride to the top of the Corcovado Mountain and its famous statue of Christ, the Redeemer.

After a tasty Brazilian barbeque lunch, you will then go through a tunnel that crosses the Corcovado Mountain to arrive in Rio de Janeiro's downtown, where the Sambodromo and the Cathedral are located. You will pass through the Lapa District, towards the Flamengo Park and Urca to climb the mountain by cable car. Lunch is included. 

Day 3 : Rio de Janeiro

Free day to explore on your own or on guided excursions.  Options include: 'Rio by Night' Dinner Show, favela tour, Botanical Gardens, Tijuca Forest by Jeep, hang gliding, days trips to Ilha Grande, Paraty or Buzios.

Day 4 : Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguacu

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguacu. Airport reception and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention, daily breakfast included - 2 nights.

After settling in you will set off with your guide to explore the Brazilian side of the falls on a half-day excursion.

You will walk along the footbridge-system with occasional platforms that offer magnificent views over the river and waterfall system. After a 40-minute walk, you will reach the foot of Floriano Falls - with its spray splashing on the surprised faces of the visitors.

From the end of the path, an elevator will take you up to the parking lot. Return transfer to your hotel.

The following are optional tours from Foz do Iguaçu (not included in trip cost):

Macuco Safari
The tour begins with a 3 km trail in a 4X4 vehicles, followed 600-meter walking trail that leads you to a small waterfall called "Salto do Macuco". Your bilingual guide will provide information about the flora and the fauna of the Park.

The final part is the upstream boat tour towards the "Devil's Throat" in motorized rubber boats. Macuco Falls is one of the most visited spots in Iguaçu due to its exuberant fauna and flora. Light clothes and appropriate shoes are required. Duration - 1 hour, 40 minutes. Weather dependent.

Birds Park
The Birds Park is located 8 km from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Covering an area of 16.5 hectares, there are huge birdcages and facilities for visitors in a preserved environment. From the park's entrance you will take an 800-meter wooded track through the huge birdcages completely within the forest.

Visitors are surprised to see incredibly colorful native birds fly about and land close to them. The birds' habitats are 630 square meters and 8 meters high, so they do not feel "caged".

There are more than 200 species of birds throughout the park area such as macaws, hummingbirds, toucans, hawks, Araras (a typical Brazilian bird) and even the colorful flamingo. Visitors can also visit a large reservoir similar to a small lake, with fish, snakes, alligators, turtles and other reptiles.

Gran Aventura - Argentina Side
You will travel by all-terrain truck through the jungle, following the Yacaratiá path for 4 miles to Puerto Macuco. You will then navigate by inflatable speedboats 3 miles through the lower Iguazú River, crossing 1 mile of rapids.

The boat approaches the waterfall through the Devil's Throat Canyon and finishes at San Martin Island (also operates from San Martin to Macuco). Duration - 1 hour.

Day 5 : Iguazu Falls

This morning you will be picked up by your private guide and set off to explore the Argentine side of the falls. You will be taken by vehicle over the Tancredo Neves Bridge across the Iguassú River entering Argentina - a very nice ride through exuberant tropical flora. Passing the city of "Puerto Iguazu", after 9 miles the bus enters the tropical rainforest of the Argentinian National Park.

Near the falls, you can walk upon wooden foot-bridges to "Devil's Throat" where the main current falls down. The area is surrounded by deep jungle, with lots of tropical birds and a marvelous ambience. Rainbows are formed by the reflections of the countless falls and the sparkling spray of their waters.

On the way back, a stop is made in the center of "Puerto Iguazu" for shopping - typical Argentinian handicraft, leather works and Indian art will all be available. The trip concludes at the "three countries corner" - from where one can see the three landmarks of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.

Day 6 : Iguazu - Buenos Aires

Today you will transfer across the border to the airport on the Argentinian side of the falls for your flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 7 : 'Four Balconies of Buenos Aires'

Visit the city known as 'The Paris of South America' through our exclusive 'Four Balconies of Buenos Aires' tour. Passing by many representative parks or squares, the guide makes an introduction into Argentina, its history, its contrasts, its contradictions and the particular psychology of the inhabitants of Buenos Aires.

Visiting the four highest parts of the city gives you possibility to enjoy the best panoramic views from the Buenos Aires. You will explore the "barrios" of La Boca, San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo, and Recoleta. La Boca, birthplace of Tango, the blue collar neighborhood of Buenos Aires in which the main street Caminito shows you the history of this beautiful and original rhythm.

San Telmo, the oldest "barrio" of Buenos Aires, where the city was founded for the first time in 1536. Discover places as Parque Lezama, Defensa Street, and the Flea Market premises. Ezeiza family house and San Lorenzo alley talking about the slave market, the arrival of the great European immigration, literature and last but not least British Invasions to the city during 1806 and 1807.

Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the central part of the city are the next attractions to be discovered. The civic center is the spot to understand different periods in Argentine’s history, politics and religion.

Recoleta, the most aristocratic area of the city, decorated with French architecture in most of the buildings surrounded by wide parks. One important spot is the Cemetery is impressive not only for its unique architecture but also for its historical value, founded in 1822, interesting place where important figures as Eva Peron are buried.

Day 8 : Buenos Aires with Tango Dinner Show

You can't go to the birthplace of Tango without seeing a show! This evening, you will be picked up at your hotel, and transferred to Esquinal Carlos Gardel Tango theatre for dinner and a tango show. The performance takes place in an intimate theatre where the orchestra is easily visible, as it hangs above the stage. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 9 : Buenos Aires

Today is a free day to explore on your own or choose from one of our other optional guided excursions.

Day 10 : Int'l Departure

You will be transferred to the airport in time for your international departure.
