Set in the heart of Costa Rica rain forest on the coasts of Golfo Dulce, Playa Cativo is a luxury Eco Lodge offering exquisite accommodations in true harmony with nature. This Costa Rican hideaway is accessible only by boat and its design complements the surrounding rain forest, its stunning grounds, and its oceanfront setting.

Day 3: Golfo Dulce

Rio Esquinas Mangrove-Ocean Kayaking and Golfo Dulce Snorkeling.

The area surrounding Playa Cativo features one of the largest and most pristine river systems in Costa Rica just a few short beaches away. The diverse terrain allows for some of the best bird watching in the area especially at sunrise and sunset.

After this unique adventure go for some Golfo Dulce Snorkeling, to some of the best spots in the gulf for local dives. At low tide, you’ll marvel at the brain coral reefs.

At high tides, the underwater rock pinnacles - that mirror the mountaintops - create a habitat for many tropical reef fish. The calm and pristine waters at 80ºF (26ºC) are perfect for a colorful snorkeling experience! Local dive (Punta Adela) and Long Range dive (Mogos and Punta Encanto) are great options.

Day 4: Golfo Dulce

Spend the day at your own pace exploring the area.

Day 5: Golfo Dulce - Manuel Antonio

After breakfast. depart on a boat transfer to Puerto Jimenez, where land transportation will be waiting for you to take you to Si Como No Resort & Wildlife Refuge in Manuel Antonio.
