Day 1 : Split

Fly into Split. Private transfer from the airport to the hotel will be organized. Hotel check in. Overnight in Split.

Day 2 : Split

Breakfast. Morning walking tour and sightseeing of Split.

Our journey through ancient history starts with the fact that the Roman emperor Diocletian was born in the nearby important Illyrian center and the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia - Salona. He ordered to build one of today’s most preserved palaces of that time in the nearby town Split.

With a professional city guide we are continuing our journey and sightseeing the 1700 year old Diocletian`s palace in Split, UNESCO protected site, imagining how the life of Diocletian was like, within the walls of the palace.

During the tour we will stop by to see the Cathedral of St Duje, one of the most beautiful cultural wonders on the Adriatic coast but also the ancient cellars, Peristyle in the center of the palace, Roman temples the famous Golden Gate and the big statue of Grgur Ninski.

Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Split.

Day 3: Krka National Park

Breakfast. Departure to Krka National Park. Krka is one out of eight national parks in Croatia that we would recommend you to visit.

The national park is named after the river Krka that it encloses. NP Krka is located along the middle-lower course of the river very close to city of Šibenik in central Dalmatia (Croatian region on the sea cost).

The Krka river was named a national park to protect the river but also to scientific, cultural, recreational, and of course tourism activities.

It was named a national park in 1985. Don’t forget to take your bathing suits as you can swim under the waterfalls.

After the National Park visit, we will take you to authentic Dalmatian village and restaurant for late lunch and wine tasting. Overnight in Split.

Day 4: Split - Hvar

Breakfast. Private transfer from the hotel to port in Split. Take catamaran over to Hvar. Hotel check in and free day at leisure in Hvar.

Day 5: Hvar

Breakfast. Morning biking or kayaking tour in Hvar. We recommend this to be in the morning since in the afternoon the temperatures can get higher so we do not recommend biking to be in the afternoon – kayaking can be done at any time of the day.

Whether you pick biking or kayaking, our guide will take you to most secret and off the beaten path places for you to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and the most beautiful sceneries.

Biking

Cycle through the inland villages of Dol, Svirce and Vrisnik, before hitting the coast through Jelsa and Vrboska, much of it the route of the 500 year-old UNESCO Easter Procession. Breathe in the nature and the heritage before finishing your ride at one more unknown treasure very much off the beaten path – the Stancic family farm in Dol.

There is nothing fancy here, just great locally produced food expertly served in an ambiance which will give you an insight into the Mediterranean as it once was.

Kayaking

The starting point of the kayaking tour is the town of Hvar. You set off to the group of small islands called the Pakleni. The origin of the name goes back to old days when the islands were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders.

Today, just like then, the islands are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during the hottest summer days.

The route through narrow straits and along the islands reveals small hidden pebble beaches where you can enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a beach of your own, where you can swim, snorkel and relax.

Returning back to Hvar around 2pm or depending on the departure time. Pakleni islands are one of the best spots for snorkeling in Croatia.

Day 6: Hvar

Breakfast and day at leisure in Hvar.

Day 7: Hvar

Breakfast. Start your day with a half day tour of Hvar with wine tasting. With this tour we offer you opportunity to see the island with its beautiful landscape, old villages, interesting small towns and so much more. We will start our tour with a drive along the road that connects Hvar and Stari Grad.

Along the road you will have a chance to see lavender fields and old villages such as Velo Grablje.

After the drive we arrive in Stari Grad. Built in 384 B.C. this is the oldest town on the island. With its rich history and landmarks our walk through town will be great experience. We will visit Hektorovic’s castle "Tvrdalj“, the Dominican Monastery, the ruins of the ancient Pharos and the early Christian church St. John from the 5th century.

After Stari Grad we are headed towards Vrboska trough the Ager (Hora) field which is UNESCO protected. This field is the best preserved Greek cadaster in the Mediterranean. Vrboska is a small town which is popular by the name of “Little Venice” due to its canal and small bridges.

This picturesque town will leave you breathless. After Vrboska we drive to Jelsa a charming little town founded in 14th century. On our way back to Hvar we will drive through villages in the interior of the Island. The highlight of the day will be wine tasting in the winery Dubokovi

Day 8: Hvar - Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Embark on a catamaran to go to Dubrovnik. Hotel check in and free the rest of the day at your own leisure in Dubrovnik.

Day 9: Hvar - Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Morning sightseeing of Dubrovnik. Local guide will take you to the most wonderful and hidden streets of the old part of city of Dubrovnik. Explore Dubrovnik City Walls (UNESCO Heritage Site), also referred to a site with 1000 steps and enjoy a unique view of the Old Town of Dubrovnik including its narrow streets and small squares.

You will also visit Monastery and Cathedral in Dubrovnik and entrance is included.

Day 10: Hvar - Dubrovnik

Breakfast. Private day cruise around Elaphiti islands (optional – not included in the price). In the early afternoon embark on a boat and explore Elaphiti islands.

Since ancient times, the islands were a place of comfort, vacation, and delight. All this due to well preserved nature, clean and clear sea, sandy beaches, beautiful pine forest, olive gardens, numerous promenades and footpaths.

Those are the scenes that remain forever in people's memory and landscapes that make the people come back again. The crew will show you hidden beaches, caves and secret places that you will absolutely love.

Our last stop will be in Island Šipan and authentic fish restaurant. Breathtaking view and atmosphere to relax the last day of your trip. Return back to Dubrovnik and free evening.
