Antarctic Express cruises embark in Ushuaia and sail along the Beagle Channel. On the way to Cape Horn a stop is made at Puerto Williams, on Navarino Island, a beautiful and undiscovered corner of Patagonia. The visit to Cape Horn, at the southern tip of South America, is a unique experience. If weather permits, you can go ashore and visit the island. Then, head south through the Drake Passage. During the crossing you have excellent chances of seeing various species of sea birds, including albatrosses. At the first Antarctic landing you will board Zodiacs and travel ashore for a visit to the South Shetland Islands. The Antarctic experience will end at King George Island, home to several Antarctic bases. You will visit the island before boarding the aircraft for the flight to Punta Arenas, Chile.
