Traveling aboard the Amatista is to embark on an authentic expedition through the Amazon jungle of Peru.

The construction of the boat, based on the traditional boats of the jungle, will take you on a journey into space and time in which you will not be able to miss.

Watch a night full of stars from the observation deck, enjoy the relaxing swing of the river, breathe the Amazon breeze, and enter the jungle of the Amazon … Put your five senses in the greatness of what surrounds you, and admire the immensity of a land before your eyes.

Our lookout, located in the highest part of El Amatista, is a unique space from which to admire the Amazonian sky. Equipped with a telescope, it allows to discover the stars, the moon, and the constellations… all while breathing the air of the Amazon.

A culinary experience The culinary experience aboard ElAmatista goes beyond the exquisite combination of fresh food from the Amazon Jungle by combining aromas, views, and flavors. From the dining room of El Amatista you can enjoy the most varied recipes from all over the world, without giving up the continuous and immense views that gives us our advance along the Amazon River.

The bars of El Amatista are also the best place from which to explore the typical exotic drinks of the Amazon. Enjoying cocktails prepared with fruits from the same Amazon jungle, savoring the typical Peruvian drink ,or sharing a good wine while overlooking the world’s largest river is an experience.

The Amazonian journeys, with the help of our expert guides, form part of the most genuine way to get close up to the fauna and flora of the Amazon, discovering and feeling in our own skin the cultures built around the waters of the river.

The itineraries are based on rainy / high water seasons and dry / low water, and may vary according to variations in climate. All activities are optional and are made 2 to 3 times a day.

Among the activities included in the itineraries are swimming with dolphins, fishing for piranhas at dusk, skirting the river banks in search of creatures, bird watching, hiking, and visits to communities.

Four unique days and three nights of expeditions on the Amazon. Here you will discover the main tributaries of the world’s largest river, the Ucayali and Marañón Rivers, entering the largest National Reserve of the Amazon, Pacaya-Samiria, and observing the immense vegetation of the Amazon ́s flooded forest, as well as sighting unique and amazing animal species.

Amatista Cabins

The Amatista has 15 16m² cabins, distributed between the first and second decks. These fifteen rooms perfectly equipped and overlooking the outside, so that every traveler on board can enjoy the authentic Amazon expedition without interfering with comfort and rest.
