In September 2018, the Origin, became the first luxury expedition yacht in the Galapagos Islands to become an official member of the esteemed Relais & Châteaux collection.

MV Origin Galapagos Luxury Cruise

Dine on delicious cuisine creatively prepared by our expert chefs using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our elegant dining room features marble table tops, with configurations from two to eight guests for private or group dining. During the week, you will be delighted by a cooking demonstration and BBQ lunch served al fresco on our spacious sundeck.

The sundeck is the ideal place to unwind between island excursions, the area offers shade with day beds, chaises lounges, woven hammocks, tables and chairs, restroom, outdoor shower, BBQ and a wet bar.

Enjoy a generous open bar policy including red, white and sparkling wine, local beer and spirits, espresso and capuchino. Our intimate indoor bar is always open for specialty cocktails, wine, beer, sodas, juices, coffee, and tea.

Interior social areas include a comfortable lounge for evening briefing and enrichment lectures offered by our naturalists or to watch a documentary. Relax in the Jacuzzi hot tub for up to six guests or work out in the fitness center equipped with a treadmill, elliptical, free weights, yoga mats, and more.

 

Be transformed on one of two comprehensive, seven-night Galapagos itineraries. Departing every Sunday Itinerary A follows a southern/central route and itinerary B follows a northern/western route. Both itineraries highlight the very best of the Galapagos; the amazing wildlife, striking landscapes, magnificent marine environment, and fascinating history.

Each day, you will explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site on two guided land excursions led by an expert naturalist guide. Activities include walks along pristine beaches, guided nature walks on volcanic lava or among lush vegetation. Observe wildlife up close and unafraid of human visitors such as giant tortoises, land iguanas, sea lions, penguins and blue-footed boobies! Explore the marine environment by Zodiac, glass-bottom boat, or while snorkeling, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

Ecoventura alternates two different full week 7-night itineraries as required by the Galapagos National Park in an effort to better reduce usage on heavily visited sites. The order of visits may vary slightly depending on the yacht assigned.

 

M/V Origin Staterooms

There are ten deluxe staterooms all located on the main (Beagle) deck that are spacious and inviting, tastefully designed with stylish modern décor, a modern bathroom with luxurious amenities.

All cabins measure 145 square feet (13.5 square meters) and offer unobstructed views of the ocean with large windows revealing the incredible landscapes of the islands and breathtaking ocean.

There are two twin size beds that convert to a king size bed. Two sets of cabins have interconnecting doors, and two cabins have a pull down berth and can accommodate triples. Fine bed linens, memory foam and soft pillow, climate controls and black out curtains all ensure a good night’s rest.

Cabin amenities include a vanity nook with a stool and lighted mirror, a nightstand, sectional closet with drawers for storing personal items, a flat screen TV with pre-loaded movies, universal docking station, clock and safety deposit box. There is a personal Espresso machine and tea kettle set up in every cabin.

All bathrooms have a modern rainfall shower, dual flush toilet, modern sink and plush towels (for beach and bath), waffle bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers and bio-degradable hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in refillable dispensers.
