Mallin Colorado Ecolodge – Puerto Guadal, Chile
Mallin Colorado Ecolodge is built in a wide open space, in the middle of a native tree park in Chile’s Aysén Region. The lodge has a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains.
Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers accommodation in cabins and rooms with excellent views of Lake General Carrera, in a private area that is harmonious with the landscape.
Mallin Colorado is a private secluded spot with a total capacity of 32 people. The lodge offers horseback riding with several trails on the property. Trails go to Cordón Contreras glaciers and lake Bertrand nice views among native trees like ñirres, coigues and lengas. We also provide gourmet cooking and excursions in the area.
More than 20 years ago, the Christensen family explored Carretera Austral and decided to buy a property in the most beautiful place in the whole area, on the shores of lake General Carrera and very close to the Northern Icefields and the marble caves.
“At the beginning we offered lodging in our cabins built by our brother Eduardo and home cooked food made by our mother Soledad Arteaga. Later. we started building all inclusive adventure programs in the area and inviting the locals to offer their boats, horse riding, fly fishing, and guiding hiking. We developed a complete touristic package for an exclusive stay at Mallin Colorado.”
