El Silencio del Campo Hotel is located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, Costa Rica just 5 kilometers northeast of the Catholic church of the community.
The Hotel Silencio del Campo was founded by Luis Diego Zúñiga Vega and his wife Kattya Hidalgo Murillo, starting construction in July 2004 and opening the lodging service in 2005.
El Silencio del Campo has developed in the midst of gardens, flora-fauna and natural beauty, always with the projection of continuing to grow. At this moment, there are 23 villas, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a spa service and thermal waters.
Geographically the location becomes a strategic point to appreciate the best view towards the volcano Arenal.
In addition, the accessibility that is maintained with the most beautiful and natural places in the area: Rio Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal National Park, serpentarium, butterfly farm, ranario and adventure activities such as: rafting, zip line, canyoning, among others.
The restaurant is surrounded by vegetation and serves varied and fresh foods, of which many are produced on the same property or produced locally.
Due to the origin of its owners, the menu faithfully reflects the region: Gallo Pinto, tortillas, egg and cheese, tasty whole tilapia grown on the property and natural drinks in addition to the chef’s specials.
