Nantipa is a word in the Chorotega language that means blue.The Chorotegans were the native tribe that inhabited the Nicoya Peninsula at the time Columbus and the Spaniards arrived in Costa Rica in the early 1500s.

Nantipa’s Restaurant is located on the beach, with direct views of the ocean and sunset. The main dining area features 15 tables that easily accommodate 50 guests, in a very cozy, inviting and relaxed ambiance.

Nantipa offers 15 guest bungalows scattered in a 2.3 hectare property with 155 meters of beachfront. Most rooms feature full or partial ocean views, along with garden and pool views. Every unit has climate controls, cable TV with flat screens, working desk, small dining tables, hammocks, WiFi, and minibar.
