Los Almendros de San Lorenzo is located around 50 minutes from El Salvador’s capital city of San Salvador, amidst the colonial magic of Suchitoto.
The hotel’s name is derived from the place where it’s built, known since its ancient past as the “Valle de los Almendros” or Valley of the Almond trees, where the first houses in Suchitoto were built over 500 years ago.
Located in the heart of the Historical Center of this magical colonial town, in a house with over 200 years of history that is currently considered as a building of outstanding cultural value.
The meticulous restoration during 2004-2005 earned the hotel owners an Official Recognition from the Ministry of Culture for the work that had been done by preserving and enhancing the country’s National Heritage.
All rooms in this historical home are individually designed. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, plasma TV, large bathrooms, complementary Wi-Fi. Hotel facilities include Restaurant, Hotel Bar, Lounge Bar, swimming pool, tropical gardens and terrace.

The Colonial Suite at the entry hallway is a stately apartment and the Mezzanine Suite which is an adorable mini-duplex with its own parlour and a mezzanine bedroom.
Apartment-Suites
Both Apartment-Suites share their own side of a building, strategically yet discreetly placed amidst the tropical gardens, and both have ample parlours meant for sitting and entertaining, a dining table for four.
The Nido de Los Almendros
The Nido is independent from the hotel; with its own access through a quaint adjacent side street. Enjoy your meals in a garden terrace with its own Jacuzzi-pool and a colorful garden.
