Tour the highlands from two different eco-lodges and ecosystems. Then, finish the trip at a beach resort on the Placencia Peninsula for 12D/11N Starting at $3,195.00 per person.
For the first week you will experience the highland jungle from two locations: one eco-lodge on the Macal River adjacent to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve; the other on the banks of Caves Branch River next to Blue Hole National Park.
The two locations compliment each other with excursions and activities from different ecosystems. Activities and excursions from Black Rock Lodge feature wildlife, river systems, jungles and Mayan ruins.
Signature adventures in the Cave’s Branch area feature exploration of the underground caves and waterfalls with activities that include river tubing, rappelling, hiking.
Top off your tropical experience at a beach resort down on the coast near the town of Placencia, located on the Placencia Peninsula. The peninsula is lined with beaches, resorts with the barrier reef poised 17 miles offshore.
You are just a short ride into town where you will find restaurants, shops, nightlife, tour companies and dive shops. Between April and July the area is home to Whale Sharks.
Trips can be arranged to spot and possibly swim with these gentle animals and the largest fish in the sea.

Day 1 : Belize City – Cave’s Branch
Upon arrival in Belize you will be picked up at Belize’s international airport and transferred overland to Cave’s Branch (with a stop at the Belize Zoo), where you will spend 3 nights in a Jungle Bungalow.
The All-inclusive package includes lodging, all meals from dinner on arriving day to breakfast on departing day, complimentary drinks on arrival, local beers, local rum drinks, juice, sodas, and water during your stay; and a choice of either 2 single day adventures or 1 overnight adventure.
Choose from spelunking, cave tubing, waterfall climbing, ziplining, snorkeling, diving and many more activities that explore the caves, beaches and jungles of the area!
Days 2, 3 : Cave’s Branch

Day 4 : Cave’s Branch – San Ignacio
After breakfast you will be transferred to San Ignacio, in the highlands, known for its unique jungle atmosphere and its proximity to some of the most interesting Mayan ruins.
You will be dropped off at Black Rock Lodge in the Mayan Mountains of Belize. The stunning rainforest surroundings of this lodge lend itself to abundant opportunity for adventure and exploration.
Spend your days enjoying the many choices of activities including: canoeing down the Macal River, horseback riding to Flour Camp Caves, self guided mountain biking, river tubing, hiking various canyon trails, or visiting one of the remarkable Mayan ruins.
With over 200 species of birds including 3 different kinds of toucans, this is a stellar oppurtunity for bird watchers and general nature enthusiasts as well.
All meals (included in your stay) are served at the lodge restaurant. Black Rock serves a selection of fruits and vegetables grown organically on site–along with locally purchased produce from the farmer’s market in San Ignacio.
Days 5-7 : Black Rock Lodge
Days for activities and guided excursions in the Belizean highlands.
Day 8 : San Ignacio – Placencia
Today you will drive from your lodge to Placencia. The Placencia peninsula boasts 16 miles of pristine beaches and accessibility to the jungle and several Mayan ruins.
You will be dropped off at the beautiful Maya Beach Hotel where you can relax on the beach or keep up the activity with options such as: kayaking, long beach walks, cycling to a friendly nearby village, swimming in the Caribbean, snorkeling, diving, fishing, manatee sighting, bird watching, jungle trekking, jaguar spotting, visiting Mayan ruins, or cave tubing.
Days 9-11 : Placencia
Days at leisure.
Day 12 : Placencia – Belize City
Transfer to the Placencia Airport for a short flight to Belize City. Connect with your int’l flight.
