Aguas Arriba Lodge is a place where tranquility and nature finds its utmost expression in Argentinean Patagonia.

The lodge is located at the Estancia Río de las Vueltas, 22 miles from El Chaltén, Argentina with 900 meters of shore along Lago del Desierto, and 700 acres of mountain ranged forests.

The lodge is It is nestled between Lenga, Guindo and Notros trees in the surrounding forest, right on the shore, overseeing the Desierto Lake, and under the distance gaze of the majestic Mt. Fitz Roy, with magnificence views of the Vespignani glacier.

It is only accessible by boat (or a 3-mile hike) ensuring total seclusion and a serene experience.

Aguas Arriba Lodge an exclusive and secluded place with total privacy for its guests. On the East shore of the Lake, rests this charming place, were you can enjoy majestic views of the lake, the north face of Mt. Fitz Roy, Mt. Torre and the Vespignani Glacier.

Trails that haven´t been explored, rivers, glaciers, forest and lakes.

An ideal place to start a variety of hikes, fly fishing trips, to harmonize with nature, relax, meditate, read, enjoy the fresh perfumes and the wild sounds from the main deck overseeing the lake.

The lodge has six rooms, all with private bathrooms. They are very spacious rooms, with lenga hardwood floors and handmade furniture. Central heating radiators can be regulated to ensure guests total comfort.

Complementary organic products such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided to all guests in order to respect and protect the environment. The lodge is in a remote area and it has its own renewable energy supply.

Guests will be able to participate in the daily scheduled activities that the lodge has to offer. They will be suggested and arranged the night before, and will depend on the weather. The various hiking routes are of different distances and level of difficulty.

Trekking/hiking circuits range between easy and intermediate level and last from 1 to 8 hours, approximately. A lunch-box is provided for long outings. In some cases the trek may be combined with a boat ride, to be determined by the guide.

All meals, boat transfers and daily activities are included.
