Welcome to Apoyo Lodge, a health & wellness boutique hotel and private retreat space located on the shore of Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua.
Apoyo Lodge specializes in mindful plant-based healing cuisine and we are the first 100% vegan hotel in Nicaragua.
Whether you visit us individually or as part of a retreat group, we want to take care of you: you are very special to us.
Apoyo Lodge strives to source seasonal organic (when possible) plant-based whole foods found locally in Nicaragua and to promote mindful eating. We wholeheartedly believe on the say “You are what you eat” and for that reason we serve fresh, healthy, authentic, nourishing and real dishes to our guests.
Meals at the lodge are a combination of raw and cooked dishes made with exclusively with plant-based whole foods which come from the earth. We want to live in harmony with Mother Nature and respect all earthlings, therefore all meals are free of meat, fish, dairy and eggs. As we also want to do what’s best for the human body and mind, refined sugars, nasty oils and preservatives are also banned from our kitchen.
At Apoyo Lodge, we believe that everybody should try to incorporate a daily yoga practice in their lives. For this reason, we offer complementary morning yoga class to our guests at our yoga shala overlooking the Lagoon.
Start your day right with the guidance of one of our talented teachers, who will adapt his/her practice to the need of the students.
Muscle tension? Accumulated stress? Lower back pain? Sounds like you need to treat yourself to a well-deserved massage during your stay with us. We offer professional massage services overlooking the lagoon, surrounded by the tropical trees and the sound of the waves.
We have a total of 8 rooms, all of them within the main building. Four of our rooms face the lagoon, whilst the other four face the gardens and surrounding forest.
All of our guests enjoy half board (nutritious breakfast and full dinner menu), morning yoga class, unlimited wifi, unlimited herbal tea, drinking water and bananas during their stay with us.
Apoyo Lodge Rooms:
Forest Room
Each Forest Room is equipped with two single beds (that can be pushed to form a king) for a total occupancy of 2 people. These rooms boast a private modern bathroom with hot water and locally made natural soap, shampoo + conditioner, as well as ceiling + floor fans. Forest Rooms have views over the lush garden and woods. We also offer the option for shared accommodation in one of our Forest Rooms for those travelling solo and/or on a budget.
Lake View Rooms with Private Patio
Each Lake View Room is equipped with two single beds (that can be pushed to form a king) for a total occupancy of 2 people. These rooms boast a private modern bathroom with hot water (from a solar panel) and locally made natural soap, shampoo + conditioner, as well as ceiling + floor fans. A set of double french doors lead to a patio area under a pergola with direct views of the laguna (please note that at certain times of the year the vegetation might partially block the views, and that these rooms are located at ground level).
Lake View Suites with Private Balcony
Each Lake View Suite is equipped with two queen beds and one single bed, for a total occupancy of 5 people. The suites boast a private modern bathroom with hot water and locally made natural soap, shampoo + conditioner, as well as ceiling + floor fans. Two sets of double french doors lead to a private balcony with direct views of the laguna. These rooms are located on the first floor.
