You will be met at the Belize Int’l Airport and transferred to your luxury eco-lodge set to coexist with nature and a true jungle experience. The result is an exquisite blend of natural beauty and man-made comforts.
From your base here you can explore the forests, caves and rivers, Mayan ruins on your own or on guided excursions. On-site activities include nature hikes, canoeing, butterfly farm, eco-friendly pool. Excursions include Mayan ruin tours, cave tubing, zipline canopy tours, among others.
Finish your trip on the Placencia Peninsula, a short flight from Belize City. You will stay at the only guest exclusive resort on the 18-mile-long Placencia Peninsula and the closest full-service resort to Placencia Village.
This resort sits at the end of the Placencia Peninsula, nestled on 400′ of private beachfront and a stroll along the beach to Placencia Village.
This resort provides you with the opportunity to treat yourself to not only relaxing and enjoying the serenity of breakfast, lunch and dinner al fresco style throughout the resort, but the restaurants, art and culture of Placencia Village at your leisure.
Some excursions you can enjoy are: snorkeling and Scuba diving, Maya Archaeological Excavations, Cave Swimming and Tubing, Kayaking, among others.

Day 1: Belize City – Chaa Creek
You will be met at the Belize City Int’l Airport by Chaa Creek representatives and transferred to San Ignacio and Chaa Creek Cottages in the foothills of the Maya Mountain range. En route to Chaa Creek, you’ll stop at the Belize Zoo.
In the late afternoon, continue to The Lodge at Chaa Creek, in the foothills of the Maya Mountain range. Accommodations are in comfortable cottages with thatched or tiled roofs and private bathrooms with hot water.
The private 365-acre nature reserve set along the banks of the Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains is home to a number of exotic jungle dwellers including peccaries, jaguar, monkeys and many others as well as over 300 species of tropical and migratory birds.
Your time at Chaa Creek is free to enjoy as you wish. All meals are included. Entry into the 35-acre Rainforest Reserve and selected activities are included in your stay and can be booked at the front desk.
The included activities are hiking, canoeing on the Macal River, swimming, mountain biking, horseback riding, guided tours of the Natural History Museum and Butterfly Farm, access to the Ruta Maya Trail System, early morning Bird Walk with one of the naturalist guides, guided interpretive tour of our newly acquired Rainforest Medicine Trail at Ixchel Farm.
During your staying enjoy an excursion to the Mayan temples of Tikal and Barton Creek Cave.
Days 2, 3: Chaa Creek

Day 4: Chaa Creek – Placencia
Today you will transfer your Placencia Resort. Take a short flight from Belize City International Airport to Placencia. Then, transfer overland to your Resort. The Oceanfront Resort of Chabil Mar is a Guest Exclusive boutique resort setting on 400 ft. of private beach, ideally located just 3/4 of a mile from the center of Placencia Village at the end of the 16-mile long Placencia Peninsula.
Chabil Mar (Maya for “Beautiful Sea”) is a boutique caribbean-front resort of Belize inspired architecture and landscaping, luxury accommodations and ambience. Immersed in the natural beauty of Belize – nestled along the caribbean with 400 ft. of private beach and pier.
Upon arrival, you will be received with a welcome drink and a tour of the resort. Accommodations are in a Partial Sea-view Luxury Villa. All meals are included as well as a dinner in Placencia Village at a select restaurant.
You will have complimentary use of bikes, paddle board and kayaks. You will have a golf cart for 2 days so you can explore the village on your own. The included activities are: full day of snorkeling and your choice of a hiking tour of the Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve or Monkey River boat trip for the Howler Monkey Tour.
Days 5 – 7: Chabil Mar

Day 8: Placencia – Belize City – Int’l Departure
After a full week of adventure and relaxation, you will transfer to the Placencia Airport for a short flight to Belize International Airport in time for your international departure.
