Cassa Lepage Art Hotel Buenos Aires – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Cassa Lepage Art Hotel is located in Monserrat, a neighborhood that is part of the historic center of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It is equidistant to the highest skyline of Puerto Madero, the iconic Avenue 9 de Julio, the business center, the antique market of San Telmo and the best art galleries and museums.

Remodeling of the property began in 2000, and the elements of urban archeology soon came to light.

The meticulous restoration of the hotel integrated and exposed underground structures (cisterns, water, and garbage wells, sewers, pipes, foundations, and others) corresponding to a long period between the beginning of the 17th century and the first decades of the 20th.

More than 300 square meters of the current building are dedicated to the exhibition of archaeological remains, which includes, in addition to the structures, hundreds of artifacts that allow us to reconstruct daily life in old Buenos Aires.

Established in Buenos Aires at the historic Pasaje Belgrano, the art gallery at Cassa Lepage extends on the hotel walls of alleys, suites and meeting rooms.

Cassa Lepage Art Hotel Art Gallery

The art gallery features the most sought out contemporary artists from Argentina. Exhibitions include art in the form of multi-media, sculpture, painting, photography, performances and art installations.

Such projects reflect both independent and collaborative efforts with other galleries worldwide.
