Day 1 : Santiago de Chile

Upon arrival at the Santiago de Chile Int’l Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight Cumbres Lastarria Hotel, breakfast included. Located in the Lastarria district – a slightly eclectic district known for its bohemian vibe and superlative cultural attractions – the Hotel Cumbres Lastarria is a boutique hotel that offers visitors comfort, style, and service.

The hotel has 70 modern designed rooms and suites, and other amenities including a fully-equipped fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool, and an eighth-floor restaurant, Punto Ocho, where you can gaze out at the Santiago skyline.

Day 2 : Santiago de Chile – San Pedro De Atacama

Hotel pickup and transfer to the Santiago Airport for your flight to Calama.

Upon arrival in Calama, you will be met by a representative of Awasi and set off for an approximate 1-hour transfer to Awasi Atacama.

Located in the heart of the Atacama Desert, Awasi will be your base for exploration. Each of the 8 rooms is assigned a private professional guide and 4×4 Jeep for the duration of your stay. Excursions are always private, without the need to compromise what you want to do based on other guests differing interests.

The lodge offers a menu of over 47 different quarter-, half- and full-day excursions which explore the cultural and natural history of the Atacama desert by Jeep, on foot, on horseback, on bike or any combination of the above. The Awasi experience is ultimately 100% tailor made.

The Atacama Desert, running over 600 miles between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, is one of the driest regions on earth. In fact it has hardly ever rained here in recorded history.

During your stay here you’ll enjoy full days of exploration with your guide in the Atacama Desert, an incredible world of soaring volcanoes, stark lava fields, and huge rolling trackless dunes. In addition, you’ll learn of the ancient civilizations that once inhabited this region.

Day 5 : Calama – Santiago de Chile – Pucon

You will be met at Awasi and transferred to the Calama Airport for your flight to Santiago. Proceed to your connecting flight to Temuco.

You will be met at the airport in Temuco and transferred to the beautiful Hacienda Hotel Vira Vira, an all-inclusive boutique hotel.

Vira Vira is set in a marvellous native park surrounded by stunning volcanoes and along the shores of the peaceful Liucura River and is an oasis of peace and recreation.

The Hacienda also operates a farm on over 40 hectares. In additional to luxurious accommodations, Vira Vira provides guests with fresh, healthy and delicious food as well as interesting insight into the operations of a modern farm and cheese dairy.

The Hotel has been designed by the owners to offer spacious, luxurious suites to international guests. All guests live in beautifully crafted rooms at either the main house (together with the owners of the Hotel) or in nicely decorated and spacious junior suites at the main hotel building or in carefully designed and decorated senior suites in separate apartments, most of them located directly at the shores of the Liucura River.

All rooms and suites have their own spacious and modern bathrooms and the senior suites have an outdoor “hot tub” overlooking the river.

Vira Vira’s offers both an international carte and a blend of local, ancient indigenous recipes coupled with the best and truly fresh ingredients. The Restaurant has been designed to offer you the best food straight from the produce of Vira Vira’s farm. Every day the Chef will carefully put together an elaborate menu for the enjoyment of guests.

Vegetarians are welcome to try the daily vegetarian choice. Vira Vira is also happy to create any custom or specific dish you like. The Bar offers a wide variety of fresh juices, soft drinks, beers and premium wines from Chile. Ask the bartender to introduce you to the fantastic world of Chilean wines – taste the Sauvignon Blanc from Lapostolle, the Syrah from Viu Manet, the Cabernet Sauvignon from Von Siebenthal or fantastic Merlots from Perez Cruz.

The bartender is also happy to mix your favorite drink just the way you like it. The bar is also the place where you can meet with your fellow guests, exchange views and experiences from your different excursions, interact with your tour guides or simply enjoy the friendly and cozy atmosphere.

At Vira Vira, a large range of exclusive activities and excursions are part of your “all-inclusive” stay with the Hotel. Enjoy active nature experiences such as horseback riding, hiking, biking, birding or visiting nearby national parks.

Experience water activities such as river rafting, kayaking, sailing, fishing or boating, or participate in seasonal winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.

Your package includes all meals, beverages (including a great selection of Chilean wines and soft drinks, except liquors and premium wines/champagne), excursions and all activities (flight around the volcano at additional cost), airport transfers.

Days 6, 7 : Lakes District

Day 8 : Temuco – Santiago de Chile – Colchagua Valley

You will be transferred from Vira Vira to the Temuco Airport for your flight to Santiago.

You will be met at the Santiago Airport and transferred to Lapostolle Residence in the Colchagua Valley.

With extraordinary views of the Apalta vineyards and the surrounding mountains, Lapostolle Residence is the perfect place to enjoy nature with sophistication. Only four suites nestled into the native forested hillside of the valley, provide serenity and privacy.

Each private terrace offers an ideal setting for quiet contemplation or intimate meals. The Residence, where the living and dining rooms are located, has a wonderful atmosphere where you can share your experience with fellow travelers.

The cuisine enhances the natural flavors from Chile and uses the local products from our organic vegetable and herb garden and also the local fresh markets from the area. The tasting room is furnished with high-tech equipments and can also be used for conferences and meetings.

The full-board package includes meals (breakfast, lunch, aperitif, dinner), tour & tasting at Clos Apalta Winery, visit to the family’s private cellar, visits to other wineries in the Apalta Valley (small group tour), mountain biking, native forest excursion, WiFi, minibar.

Day 9 : Colchagua Valley

Day at leisure with optional excursions and activities arranged at the hotel.

Day 10 : Colchagua Valley – Santiago de Chile

Pickup at Laspostolle and transfer to the Santiago Airport. Int’l Departure.
