Journeys include additional stops at La Raya, the highest point on the Cusco-Puno route at 4,335 meters above sea level, the perfect place to see the beautiful snow-capped Andes and the many llamas and vicunas roaming around; and/or the village of Raqchi, also known as the Temple of Viracocha because of its emblematic constructions.  

  • Fully experience what The Andean Explorer has to offer on the 3 day/2 night Peruvian Highlands from Cuzco to Arequipa which includes a night in Lake Titicaca and an optional extension to the Colca Canyon. 

  • Slightly shorter but equally exciting, the 2 day/2 night Andean Plains and Islands of Discovery travels from Arequipa to Cuzco. 

Only 2 Deluxe double cabins, 6 Junior double cabins, 11 twin bed cabins, 5 bunk bed cabins accommodate a maximum of 48 passengers. Two Dining Cars utilize locally sourced food from the Peruvian Andes skillfully designed by the chefs from the Belmond Monasterio in Cuzco.  Unwind and meet new friends in the Observation Car while sipping a Pisco Sour.
