From vibrant colonial cities to wild Pacific beaches, Nicaragua offers an unforgettable journey through culture, history, and nature.
This itinerary, crafted by Lost World Adventures, blends the highlights of the country’s urban charm, volcanic landscapes, and pristine coastline into one seamless travel experience.
Whether you’re drawn to the cobblestone streets of Granada, the lush trails of Mombacho Volcano, or the serene seclusion of a luxury ecolodge, every step of the trip immerses you in the spirit of Nicaragua.
Your adventure begins in Managua, the country’s capital, before heading to Granada—one of the oldest and most picturesque cities in the Americas. Here you’ll discover centuries-old churches, bustling plazas, and colonial landmarks by traditional horse-drawn carriage, while optional excursions allow you to explore nearby volcanoes, lakes, and artisan villages. Granada serves as your gateway to Nicaragua’s cultural heart, offering both leisurely moments and rich discovery.
The journey continues with a shift to the natural world, as you ascend the cloud forests of Mombacho Volcano. Misty trails and panoramic vistas provide a striking contrast to Granada’s lively streets, with encounters with howler monkeys, orchids, and coffee plantations along the way. Then it’s onward to Morgan’s Rock, a secluded ecolodge set on a private reserve where jungle meets the Pacific. Days here are shaped by your own rhythm—whether relaxing on a mile-long beach, joining a yoga class above the treetops, or venturing out on guided adventures such as kayaking, horseback riding, or wildlife spotting.
Every element of this itinerary can be tailored by Lost World Adventures to fit your preferences—whether that means a few extra days at the beach, a deeper dive into Nicaragua’s volcanic landscapes, or a balance of culture and relaxation. With hand-picked accommodations, private transfers, and curated excursions, you’ll experience the best of Nicaragua with comfort and authenticity. This is not just a trip—it’s a journey into the heart of Central America, where history, nature, and discovery come together seamlessly.
