This family-run inn is owned by Alberto del Castillo, one of the region’s most noted climbers. All rooms have private bathrooms and breakfast buffet is included.

Where the local hiking trails begin, you will find El Puma Lodge, a pleasant and comfortable place designed for those who enjoy nature in an active way.

We have a total of 12 spacious rooms with private bathroom and a cozy living room, where you can relax in front of a nice fireplace, enjoying a glass of wine after a long day of hiking.

Using El Puma as your base, you can explore the myriad of hiking trails that weave throughout the Fitzroy massif.

Excursions can be arranged with the help of Alberto, who provides advice and trail maps.

Additionally guides may be hired for longer day hikes. Box-lunches may be provided during the days.

In addition to outstanding outdoor activities and scenery, there are also exciting opportunities to view flora and fauna. In particular, the Andean Condor and the Austral parakeet are widely spotted.
