Hotel Casa Turire is located only a few minutes outside of the rural town of Turrialba just minutes from the majestic Turrialba volcano as well as lush rainforest and pristine rivers found only in this unique area of Costa Rica.
The hotel is an ideal site as a base for the exploration of Costa Rica – you can get to know its interior richness from Braulio Carrillo to the Irazú Volcano – make tours in the Reventazón or Pacuare rivers and travel from the Caribbean coast of the exotic Limón to the mystical hidden rainforest in Tortuguero.
Guests can start directly on the doorstep of the hotel with a walk through the gardens and orchards of the place, exotic birds and butterflies are regular visitors.
The toucans gather in the treetops with the noisy parakeets. The bright orange-black bird Oropendola frequents the trees and shrubs around the spring-fed pool.
The tour to the farm is an experience that allows guests to learn about the operation of a working plantation. A private car transports guests on an informative trip through the 2000-acre plantation with stops at the treatment plants.
Coffee, macadamia and sugarcane are cultivated and processed in the same area. During the harvest season, from July to November, guests can enjoy coffee as is traditionally prepared in Costa Rica.
There are trips to waterfalls and adventures through the tropical jungle. The horseback riding and the excursions offer the most magnificent perspective, with a panoramic view of the mountain and the entire Turrialba Valley. Cycling can range from a pleasant trip around to advanced rides on more challenging terrain.
There are numerous lake activities available for guests of Casa Turire. A dam irrigated by the Reventazon River fills a huge area, forming a lake 37 meters deep. Casa Turire has built a pier and offers non-motorized water sports – kayaking and rowing boats.

Suite
We have 3 Suites, with King size bed, all have extra sofa beds, ample shared area, mini-bar, DVD and balcony, 42 “plasma TV with satellite signal, air conditioning, jacuzzi and bathroom with hydro massage. The three Suites overlook the Turrialba Volcano and the Angostura Lake.
Master Suite
This beautiful two-story room offers the best comfort in our hotel. The first level is equipped with living room, bathroom with shower, sofa bed, TV 42 “with satellite signal and a balcony with panoramic view of the entrance to the hotel.In the second level you will find the main room with king bed, jacuzzi, bathroom, balcony Private, mini-bar, air conditioning, flat screen TV and DVD.
