Playa Cativo is a Costa Rica Eco Lodge located on the calm waters of the Golfo Dulce, the inner side of the Osa Peninsula in southern Costa Rica, and the only tropical fjord in the Americas.
Playa Cativo is like an island inside the Piedras Blancas National Park because even the shoreline in front of the property belongs to the Park.

Getting to Playa Cativo is an adventure by itself. The 50-minute flight from San José to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez is a beautiful experience. You will be met at the local airport for a stunning 30-minute boat ride to Playa Cativo. Farm-to-table meals are served at the lodge’s El Gavilán Restaurant.
An extensive selection of tours and activities are offered, which include non-scheduled self-driven tours, guided tours, private sessions and third-party operated guided tours.
One complimentary tour is offered per guest during their stay.

| Cayetano’s Organic Farm: We have successfully added many organic products, including tomatoes, carrots, cassava, peppers, beet, cilantro, celery, mustard, basil, green beans, beans, cucumbers, plantain as well as many herbs. We also grow fruits such as pineapples, coconuts, papayas, bananas, passion fruits, limes, oranges, mangos, star fruit and a large variety of exotic fruit. Our farmers will be delighted to show you the entire process, from seed germination to harvest! |
