Located in the heart of the Chubut River Valley in Patagonian Argentina, Posada Los Mimbres is an excellent place to discover the treasures of the region.
The original premises, the family house and the cabin are set in large green areas on the bank of the river. These three houses provide comfortable accommodation for 25 guests.
The Mimbres Inn combines modern accommodation and homemade meals with the fascinating history and an atmosphere that gives you the sensation of feeling at home, where we take care of every detail with passion and each corner deserves to be discovered.
The family-run restaurant offers traditional Patagonian food that is home cooked as in days gone by. Dishes blending local flavors with delicious European and Argentinian cuisine and exotic vegetables from the farm are served in a pleasant atmosphere.
Los Mimbres Inn – Welsh House
Built more than 100 years ago, The Welsh House still keeps part of the furnishing dating back to settler’s times and combines them with modern sleeping accommodation. The house has two double and one triple rooms, all with private bathrooms.
A comfortable dining room with fireplace, and a reading room where you can learn about the past events and customs of the region. The house has a cozy and warm atmosphere and offers the opportunity of a great rest.
Los Mimbres Inn – New House
The Plust House, main residence of ‘Los Mimbres’, designed in 1991, implements sustainable building criteria, bio-climatic design strategies, energy efficiency measures, and integration of passive solar systems.
The objective was to achieve excellent environmental quality, in both indoor and outdoor spaces with minimum ecological impact. It has 3 triple rooms and 1 double room with en suite private showers and toilets.
It has an excellent view overlooking the garden from the living room by the open fireplace and offers a serene and intimate atmosphere to relax.
Los Mimbres Inn – The Cottage
A special cabin to share with family or friends. It has 2 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, and a very illuminated dinning/kitchen room. Capacity for 7 guests.
