Private Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Peru
Private 3-night trek along the legendary Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru for 4D/3N starting at $1,037.00 per person.
Our first-class Inca Trail Trek will be led by a highly-experienced registered trekking guide and accompanied by crew of cook and porters.
Camping will be in roomy 4-person tents (for each 2 trekkers). Campsites will include dining tent with table service, kitchen tent. All meals, snacks, drinking water are included.
You arrive at Machu Picchu on the fourth day, tour the ruins with lunch included. Return to Cusco by train in the afternoon. You have the option of spending the fourth night at an Aguas Calientes hotel (or at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge) with an extra day to explore the area.

Day 1 : Cusco – Km. 82 – Huayllabamba
You will be met at your hotel by your guide and depart by bus to the town of Ollantaytambo where you will meet with the porters and continue to Piskacucho (Km. 82) where the trek begins.
Following the left bank of the Urubamba River, arrive at Llactapata, the first archaeological remains along the Inca trail at 2,303 m. (7,550 ft.). Continue the hike to Huayllabamba. The staff will set up camp here. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 2 : Huayllabamba – Llulluchapampa – Pacaymayo
Breakfast at camp. Visit the village of Huayllabamba. The trail winds steeply cutting through dense vegetation reaching a meadow below the first pass with breathtaking views of Mount Huayanay.
After a 2-hour climb reach Warmiwañuska pass, the highest point of the journey at 4,050 m. (13,276 ft.). The trail descends to the Pacaymayo River where camp will be set up. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 3 : Pacaymayo – Sayacmarca – Phuyupatamarca – Winay Wayna
Breakfast at camp. Climb slowly to the second pass with magnificent views of the mountain range. Descend to Chakicocha. On the way, visit the Runkuraqay and Sayacmarca ruins.
Continue along a buttress and go through Phuyupatamarca ruins The flagstone trail winds sharply down into the cloud forest reaching the Wiñay Wayna ruins. Camp will be set up nearby. Dinner at camp.
Day 4 : Winay Wayna – Inti Punku – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Breakfast at camp. A 2-hour hike leads to Intipunku (Gate of the Sun) which overlooks the awesome Machu Picchu. Along with your guide visit the citadel and go through its temples, observatories, water systems, dwellings, watchtowers, gardens, and have some free time to explore on your own.
In the afternoon, you will take the 25 minute bus ride to Aguas Calientes and board the train to Cuzco. Alternately, you can spend the night at a hotel in Aguas Calientes (or the Machu PIcchu Sanctuary Lodge) and have an extra day to explore the area.
