Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica Lodge – Puerto Maldonado, Peru
An eco-luxury lodge in front of Madre de Dios River in Puerto Maldonado, Peru, Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica has 35 wooden cabanas inspired in the Ese’Eja culture. 540 bird species have been inventoried in hotel grounds, deep in the rainforest.
In 2013, Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica was selected by National Geographic Traveler magazine among the world’s 25 best eco-lodges.
A welcoming haven situated at the heart of a 17,000 hectare (42,008-acre) private ecological reserve, only a 25-minute flight from Cusco.
Pristine, remote and yet easily accesible. Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is adjacent to the lush Tambopata National Reserve, where the Madre de Dios river meanders through the Southern Peru rainforest region, known as the Biodiversity Capital of Peru.
Inspired by the tropical flavors of the Amazon region, meals and beverages at Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica are prepared with fresh local ingredients. We serve an international buffet breakfast; lunch and dinner are served à la carte.
All meals include a variety of salads and fruits, as well as a selection of homemade breads. There are also vegetarian options and a children’s menu, upon request. Meals are served in the dining room, where you can also enjoy complete bar service, including a complimentary Pisco Sour at the cocktail hour.
