All Brazil Tour
13 Days - 12 Nights
- Based on Double Occupancy
Visit Rio, the Amazon, Lençois Maranhenses National Park and Salvador with a small group of enthusiastic travelers for 13D/12N starting at $1,728.00 per person.
This itinerary stitches together three distinct Brazilian worlds, each revealing a different face of the country’s vast scale and character.
It opens in Rio de Janeiro, a city that needs no spotlight because it carries its own—gleaming off the Atlantic, climbing up the flanks of Tijuca Forest, and circling the outstretched arms of Christ the Redeemer. Your time here blends iconic viewpoints with flexible space to explore the city’s rhythm at your own pace. Whether you dive into the metro for a day lived alongside cariocas or opt for a quiet afternoon in a botanical oasis, these first days ease you in with urban energy and coastal beauty.
From there, the narrative shifts dramatically. Manaus serves as the literal and figurative gateway into the Amazon, and the journey upriver places you inside landscapes that feel as ancient as they are alive. The trilogy of nights on the private expedition boat moves you from meeting waters that refuse to blend to nights lit by caiman eyes and dinners under a rising moon. Daily encounters—piranha fishing, forest treks, traditional communities, and the improbable grace of pink river dolphins—anchor you in the region’s natural and cultural reality rather than in postcard fantasy. By the time you return to Manaus, the jungle’s scale has shifted from abstract idea to lived experience.
The route then swings northeast to São Luís, where tiled facades and narrow colonial streets form a counterpoint to everything you’ve just seen. This is the calm before another transformation: the dunes and freshwater pools of Lençóis Maranhenses. The park feels almost imaginary, a desert that forgot to be a desert, and your days here alternate between 4×4 access to hidden lagoons and river journeys lined with mangrove and açaí stands. Small communities, lighthouse panoramas, and stretches of sand wedged between river and sea shape an entirely new rhythm.
The finale takes place in Salvador, anchoring the trip in a city defined by its Afro-Brazilian heritage, its music, and its architecture. Pelourinho’s maze of pastel buildings and cobblestone streets provides the frame, while guided walks introduce the layers of culture that make Salvador one of Brazil’s most compelling urban experiences. With time built in for optional exploration, you can close the journey with breadth or depth—panoramic views or neighborhood wanderings—before departure.
Across these thirteen days, the itinerary moves like a story with three acts: coast, forest, sand, and culture intertwining in sequence, each region distinct yet connected through the journey’s pace and design.
