Day 1 : San Jose – Arenal
Arrival at the San Jose Int’l Airport. After clearing Customs & Immigration you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred by private vehicle to Arenal. Overnight at Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort in a Rainforest Suite, daily breakfast included – 2 nights.
Day 2 : Arenal
You will be met at the hotel and transferred to Reserva Arenal. This group tour will be accompanied by a local English-speaking guide and includes both the Sky Tram and the Sky Trek and offers you adventure, zip lines, bird watching and hiking inside the tropical rain forest.
The Sky Tram is a 20-minute aerial tram tour through the rain forest to and observation deck where you have spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano, Lake and the Tilaran mountain range.
The Sky Trek is a 3,280 foot long zipline system that gives you an exhilarating ride through the rain forest. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3 : Arenal – Punta Islita
Hotel pickup and transfer to the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a complex of suspended bridges and trails through a beautiful rain forest. These allow for observation of flora and fauna from the ground level to the top of the trees.
This is one of the best methods of learning about the complexity and beauty of the rain forest. Walk the trails where you will see graceful palms and many varieties of heliconias, flowering ginger, and possibly howling monkeys, colorful forest birds and butterflies.
Half-day, small-group tour will be accompanied by a local English-speaking guide. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 : Punta Islita
Private overland transfer from Arenal to the Punta Islita Resort. Overnight in a Casita with private plunge pool, daily breakfast included – 4 nights.
