Nayara Springs Hotel is an adults only, intimate, luxurious experience in Fortuna, Costa Rica.

The property sits on a gentle slope on the fringes of The Arenal Volcano Natural Park against the backdrop of the majestic Arenal Volcano, one of the youngest and still active volcanoes in this hemisphere.

The entrance to the hotel is via a 250-foot pedestrian bridge above the tree canopy opening onto breathtaking views of the jungle.

Nayara Springs’ vision was to create the most exceptional boutique hotel in all of Costa Rica; a secluded place of understated luxury that would not take away from the authenticity of a real rainforest experience.

The spa at Nayara Springs is a sanctuary of serenity, beauty and indulgence perched above the majestic rainforest. Our goal was to create a beautiful retreat where body, mind and nature join together in perfect harmony and peace.

Private open-air treatment pavilions look to the rainforest and come with Jacuzzis and outdoor showers. In addition to classic massages and facials, treatments include scrubs and wraps with organic coffee, volcanic mud, and chocolate clay. The spa also has a steam and sauna room, and offers hand and feet treatments, signature rituals, and combination packages.

In order not to disturb the dense verdant jungle, they built a 250-foot pedestrian bridge above the canopies of the trees – the hotel’s only communication to the outside world – a pathway that gives guests privacy and peace from the moment they arrive.

Hidden among the tropical forest, the Spring Villas feature king bed, private plunge pool fed by natural mineral hot springs, an expansive private garden with dual rain showers, oversized bathroom, indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The Spring Villas also come with a private host to compliment the ever-attentive hotel staff.

Nayara Springs offers all the amenities of a 5-star hotel: two oversized infinity edge pools that merge into the forest where one can spy toucans and hummingbirds or greet the friendly macaws that call Nayara Springs home; an award winning spa with outdoor treatment bungalows, sauna and steam rooms; and two restaurants.

AmorLoco, a piano bar lounge serving lunch by the pool and candelight gourmet dinners with live music, and Mis Amores, our Mediterranean bistro, an outdoor terrace overlooking the volcano and the forest where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
