Ride a bike through the tree-lined streets in Lujan de Cuyo, and feel the excitement of discovering the Andean foothills on Horseback before sitting down to a traditional Argentine barbecue asado with your gaucho guide. A week of sensory paradise sprinkled with adventure awaits!

Day 1: Welcome to Mendoza

Your driver willl pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel of choice. For lunch, your driver will pick you up and take you to Lagarde, a traditional winery featuring vintage oak casks and winemaking methods.

Known for their aging potential, their Viogniers and Henry line are treasures for any cellar. Soak up their beautiful surroundings and picturesque courtyards as you swirl and sip through their exquisite 6 course wine-paired lunch!

Day 2: Rolling through Vistalba

This morning Jean Pierre will pick you up from your hotel and you will head to his home just a few minutes away to gear up for a great day of biking and wine! Start the day off right at Lamadrid.

Explore this traditional winery showcasing a fusion of two excellent Argentine brands; Lamadrid and Durigutti. With the passion of two great wine families coming together under one roof you can be sure to expect top quality, high altitude varietals.

Enjoy a tasting in their charming wine cellar as you explore their ample portfolio. Then, bike a bit further east and enjoy the beautiful grounds and comfort of Nieto Senetiner winery. With strong Argentine traditions, robust and delicious wines, and traditional Spanish and rural architecture, Nieto Senetiner is a staple winery in the Vistalba region.

For lunch, you will bike back to JP’s beautiful home in the Vistalba region and enjoy a traditional Argentine asado prepared by him and his wife. Spend the afternoon like true Argentines, with Argentines, and enjoy the delicious food and wine that accompany this unique experience!

Day 3: The Land of Malbec

Today you will be picked up and head further into the Lujan de Cuyo region. First, step back in time at Benegas. This traditional winery is owned by Federico Benegas, grandson of Mendoza’s most prominent wine industry player. Savor their bold red wines and view their unusual poncho collection and family relics that provide perspective on wine making at the turn of the 20th century.

Next, enjoy warm hospitality at Mendel, a charming boutique winery. Vintage vineyards, passionate people, experience and friendship are blended under the guidance of superstar winemaker Roberto de la Mota. Taste his ultra smooth, young Malbecs and Cabs and smile.

Finally, indulge in a delicious 5 course wine-paired lunch at Dominio del Plata, a successful winery founded by Susana Balbo, one of Argentina’s most recognized female winemakers. Gain insight into the logistical challenges faced by the young winery fullfilling the global demand for savvy, new world wines.

Day 4: Adventures in the Uco Valley

This morning you will be picked up by your gaucho guide, Nino, and taken deep into the Uco Valley. Explore the native flora and fauna of the Pampa del Durazno on horseback while soaking up the incredible views all around you.

After a full morning of fresh air and adventure head back to Nino’s quaint rancho in a small agricultural village in the valley. Here you will enjoy a delicious and traditional Argentine asado accompanied by plenty of wine and great stories.

Day 5: Marvelous Maipu

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the quaint wine-producing region of Maipu. First, visit renowned winemaker Karim Mussi’s personal wine cellar at Ave Maria Purisima, where you will find wines from 5 of his projects. Here you will taste through Karim’s portfolio as you explore the terroir of Argentina.

This exciting new project is as off-the beaten track as it gets, and is an experience you will never forget! Dont miss out on buying unique wines not found elsewhere. Next, visit the beautiful grounds of Domaine St. Diego, tended by winemaker Angel Mendoza’s family.

Angel Mendoza was the head winemaker at Trapiche winery (Argentina’s largest winery), before persueing this family project. Appreciate the family philosophy of optimizing space and resources by producing a diverse portfolio of products including sparkling wine, varietals, blends, ports and even olive oil! Get a lesson on viticulture as you learn about Malbec at this charming boutique winery.

Finally, travel further into Maipu, through the backcountry roads until you cross over the Mendoza river and arrive at the beautiful Finca Agostino winery. Enjoy a delicious multicourse lunch while enjoying the incredible oasis in the desert inspired and designed by 4 Canadian arhitects and brothers. Overlook the the vineyards and patio from their elegant restaurant and enjoy the perfectly paired wine with each course.

Day 6: Explore the Uco Valley

Today you will have the opportunity to explore the vastness of the Uco Valley. Start the day off right and swirl Pulenta Estate’s focused varietals and rich complex blends while learning more about this successful Argentine family legacy.

The modern minimalist design and state of the art winemaking equipment reflect their cutting-edge personality.

Next, visit the tiny, yet ultra-modern Corazon del Sol. Being his third winery worldwide, owner Dr. Madaiah Revana, has created a place with impeccable malbec-based wines. Sip through the boutique collection and taste the vigor and uniqueness of his high altitude varietal.

Lastly, visit the architecturally astounding Monteviejo. Marvel at it´s beautiful barrel style windows and the vastness of its structure and vineyards in the famous Clos de los Siete.

Taste through their delicious malbecs and special creations perfectly paired with each course of their innovative 4 course lunch menu. Bask in the never-ending views of the valley before heading back to the city.

Day 7: Departure

Today your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport in time for your departure flight. Safe travels!
